Creating Your Account

Sign up for Levelup using email, Google, Microsoft, or Xero SSO.

Levelup offers several ways to create an account and sign in. You can use email with a one-time passcode, or sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Xero.

Sign-In Options

When you visit the Levelup sign-in page, you will see the following options:

  • Continue with email -- Enter your email address to receive a one-time verification code.
  • Continue with Google -- Sign in using your Google account.
  • Continue with Microsoft -- Sign in using your Microsoft account.
  • Continue with Xero -- Available under "Show other options." Sign in using your Xero account credentials.

If you do not have an account yet, Levelup will create one for you automatically when you sign in for the first time.

Signing Up with Email

  1. On the sign-in page, select Continue with email.
  2. Enter your email address and select Continue.
  3. Levelup sends a 6-digit verification code to your email.
  4. On the verification code page, enter the code from your email. The form submits automatically once all 6 digits are entered.
  5. If you did not receive the code, wait for the cooldown timer to expire and then select Send code again.

Signing Up with Google, Microsoft, or Xero

  1. On the sign-in page, select the provider you want to use (Google, Microsoft, or Xero).
  2. You will be redirected to the provider's sign-in page.
  3. Authorize Levelup to access your account.
  4. You will be redirected back to Levelup and signed in automatically.

Completing Your Profile

After your first sign-in, Levelup asks you to complete your profile. This is step 1 of the onboarding process.

  1. Enter your First Name and Last Name.
  2. Select your Role from the dropdown. Options include:
    • Accounting Firm Partner
    • Accountant
    • Bookkeeper
    • CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
    • Controller
    • Founder
    • Investor
    • Franchisor
    • Other (with a field to specify)
  3. Select Continue to proceed to workspace creation.

Device Approval

For added security, Levelup may require device verification when you sign in from an unrecognized device. If this happens:

  1. You will be redirected to a device verification page titled "New Device Detected."
  2. Check your email for a verification message from Levelup.
  3. In the email, click Approve Login to verify the device and allow the sign-in.
  4. If you do not recognize the login attempt, click Deny Login in the email instead to block it.

The verification link expires in 15 minutes. If it expires, return to the sign-in page and try again.

Terms and Privacy

By signing in or creating an account, you agree to the Levelup Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Links to both are displayed on the sign-in page.
