Use Levelup to bring your financial data into one place so you can understand performance, compare results, and make decisions faster.
Whether you’re advising clients, managing investments, or operating one or more businesses, Levelup helps you see financial performance clearly and consistently.
If you’re new to Levelup, this guide helps you move from understanding the core concepts to applying them, so you can get set up quickly and start working with your data.
Let’s get started!
This guide helps you get from first login to working with real financial data as quickly as possible. By the end of this Start Guide, you'll be able to:
Follow the steps below to set up your workspace, connect your data, and start exploring your financials.
Sign up and create your workspace. This will serve as your central place to manage companies and collaborators.
Add companies to represent the businesses or entities you want to track and compare. Each company maps to a distinct set of financial data, which makes it possible to analyze performance across one or many entities.
Navigate to Companies > Add New Company.
Input name, industry, tags and assign team members (team member visibility coming soon).
Once your accounting data is connected, Levelup brings transactions, accounts, and balances into a consistent structure so you can start analyzing results right away.
We support integrations with:
Follow the in-app prompts to authenticate and sync company data.
Levelup uses AI to standardize your chart of accounts so financials from different companies can be compared using a consistent structure. This gives you a clean foundation for reporting while still letting you maintain control where it matters.
Behind the scenes, Levelup automatically maps imported accounts to a standard chart, highlights areas for review, and lets you override AI-suggested categorizations when you need more precision.
Dashboards let you review financial performance at a glance and spot trends across companies without digging through reports.
Access pre-built dashboards showing:
Invite teammates to your workspace so they can collaborate on companies and reports. You can assign roles to control what each person can see and manage, based on how they’re involved.
Share companies with external partners so you can collaborate without giving up control of your workspace. This is useful when working with advisors, owners, or other stakeholders who need visibility into specific companies.
You can manage sharing from the Sharing section, where you decide who has access to each company and whether that access is ongoing or time‑limited.
Levelup is built to keep your financial data secure while giving you control over who can access it. Your data is protected by modern security practices, and access is governed by workspace roles and permissions.
