Manage Sharing
Ensuring the correct organizations have access shouldn't be a headache. Here is how Levelup makes this easy.
Shared Companies
Shared Companies are companies that your organization has granted access to a third-party External Organization. Levelup makes it easy to:
- View which external organizations currently have access to each company
- Quickly update or revoke access as needed
Time-Limited Sharing
You can share a company:
- Indefinitely, or
- For a specific time window
Time-limited sharing is useful when temporary access is needed — for example, by brokers, lenders, or transaction advisors — allowing them to access data only during a defined period.
Shared with Organization
In the Shared with Organization tab, you can view companies that have been shared with your organization by others. This is where your team can manage external access granted to you.
Transfer Ownership (coming soon)
Transfer Ownership allows an organization to hand off full ownership of a company to another external organization.
Example Use Cases:
- An accountant creates a company on behalf of a client and later transfers ownership (and billing responsibility) to that client.
- A VC firm creates a portfolio company in Levelup and later transfers ownership to the PortCo so they can manage integrations and pay for their subscription.
